Brain found to distort body image so much we don’t know the backs of our own hands

Add to My Stories Our brains hold a highly distorted view of our bodies, experts revealed today. The findings could help explain how eating disorders like anorexia develop. Researchers at University College London (UCL) found people tended to believe their hands were shorter and fatter than they really were.
